The United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) was the third United Nations Headquarters to be established on 1 January 1980, after the United Nations Headquarters in New York and the United Nations Office at Geneva, and before the United Nations Office at Nairobi. It provides representation and liaison services to the permanent missions to the United Nations (Vienna), to the Government of the host country and the intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations represented in Vienna.
